Hi,

How fast is the built in GPS on the NSS - how many times per second does it refresh?

Hi Andy and all,

The built-in GPS in the NSS7, 8 and 12 updates once per second (1 Hz).

If you require a higher rate, you may connect the GS15 external GPS, which updates at 5 Hz (5 updates per second). You will also need a Simnet to MicroC adaptor cable, as the GS15 has a Simnet connection, and the NSS uses NMEA2000 MicroC.
