Can I import my GPS coordinates from another GPS or PC into the NSS8?

Thanks

You can import your GPS co-ordinates into the Simrad NSS (7, 8 and 12).

The process is easy, you only need to have your GPS co-ordinates stored in WGS84 format.

- Save your WGS84 formatted co-ords onto a micro-SD card;

- Pop it in the NSS (with the power off, of course);

- Navigate to the system menu

- Select and import your files

There are numerous free GPS programs you can use to handle your co-ordinates. Contact us or call Ben on 0424 847 853 and he can suggest a free program that will do what you need.

Some of our customers also use the GPX format. You can also import your co-ordinates in this format in the same way as above.

Ensure you turn your chartplotter off before you insert the Micro SD card.
