Hi all,

For those who have the iPhone, we have found some handy apps which you can purchase from the iTunes store to help make boating easier and more enjoyable!

Boat Ramps is a database-driven application that provides the fastest way to locate boat ramp and launching facilities. Boat Ramps provides an easy to use interface that places a database of over 45,000 ramps at your fingertips.

You may search by postcode, area name, or use your current location to search for ramps nearby. Australia is included in the database, however feedback in January 2010 says there is no coverage in Perth. We are not sure whether this has changed yet.

Boat Ramps has also just been released in a version for the Android operating system! If you have a phone running Android, such as the new Google phone, or many others, you are also able to make use of this handy tool.

Navionics has also released an iPhone app - for an incredibly low price! If you have an iPhone and a boat, check it out on the apps or iTunes store! Ben

BlueRay has launched an App to make sending SMS commands to your system easier for Iphone users. You can get this App from the ITunes store, its free!

Just select your Model, Manta or Sting. Add the Boat's SIM number and save the settings.

Any feedback about the App is welcome.
